You Don’t Know, Jack: Autism Demystification® Puppet Program Curriculum

You Don't Know, Jack Packaged ProgramYou Don’t Know, Jack: Autism Demystification® Puppet Program Package

Based on the award-winning Friend 2 Friend Autism Demystification® model, You Don’t Know, Jack is the fourth Autism Demystification® Puppet Program created by Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society.

Our evidence-based Autism Demystification® model and programs use a systematic approach to educate both individuals with autism and their peers in an effort to promote social inclusion, play and friendships.

Unlike awareness activities, the Friend 2 Friend Autism Demystification® model and programs work to promote understanding, acceptance and empathy between children with autism and their peers and siblings while never singling out or identifying any individual on the autism spectrum. The programs use a teaching model that models, labels, explains and normalizes characteristics of autism. The model also teaches prosocial communication strategies to peers to increase social interactions, play and friendships between children with autism and their peers.

This out of the box curriculum digital packaged program contains: an implementation manual, a professionally produced puppet play video entitled “You Don’t Know, Jack, a story colouring book adapted from the puppet play, as well as other printable materials. This program is provided as part of our our Autism Demystification® Online Course
