Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society is a non-government funded, non-profit charity based in North Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Friend 2 Friend has one mandate to foster mutual friendships between individuals on the autism spectrum (ASD) and their peers by providing programs and services that promote understanding, acceptance, and empathy of ASD and support all children to develop to the best of their ability through the play and socialization that friendships provide.
To meet our mandate we provide the F2F Autism Demystification Programs, Integrated Play Groups to children 3 to 18 years of age, and seminars for parents and professionals throughout North American upon request.
Why donate to Friend 2 Friend?
Friend 2 Friend volunteers, staff and board of directors believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in the Friend 2 Friend Programs irrespective of the school / families ability to pay.
To make our programs accessible to all we charge minimal fees which are based on 1/3 the actual cost of running or delivering the programs, we also provide programs completely free of charge to families and schools when necessary. At present we do not have major funding for our programs and services, therefore Friend 2 Friend grant writes and fundraises to ensure we have the funding necessary to deliver our programs and services. All fees, book sales, conference registration fees etc go directly back into the delivery of the all F2F programs and services.
