We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly compassionate and creative individual for the position of Play Guide in our Play Centre in East Vancouver.

As a Play Guide you will support the implementation of Friend 2 Friend Autism DemystificationÒ programs in school throughout the lower mainland, as well as and the Integrated Play GroupsÒ programs at our Play Centre in East Vancouver. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with both typically developing children as well as children on the autism spectrum. In this role you will assist in the set up of programs, aid in the creation of materials, provide scaffolding to players during the programs and create session notes.
This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced team, and develop skills for advancing your career, all this, while participating in a program that is like no other in the world.
What you bring
Bring your exceptional communication and people skills along with your customer service heart to our team. If you have a bachelor’s degree or working towards a graduate degree in a related field such as psychology, speech and language, occupational therapy and at least 1-3 years clinical experience working with children autism.
Successful candidates will have a current criminal record check and a current certificate in First Aid from an accredited organization.
