Friend 2 Friend's Integrated Play Groups Program
F2F offers a 14 week IPG program where F2F Master Play Guides will design, set-up and run individualized IPG for children on the autism spectrum and their peers in school, preschool and daycares throughout Metro Vancouver. During this 14 week program F2F will also prepare and supervise one school or home based professional to continue to run the IPG once F2F has completed the 14 week program. Friend 2 Friend's - Integrated Play Groups Consultation Services
F2F offers consultation to professionals, parents and other practitioners on a limited, case-by-case basis to support, set up and maintain Integrated Play Groups for children aged 3-16 throughout BC. Fostering Peer Play and Friendships in Children on the Autism Spectrum: Blending the Integrated Play Group and Friend 2 Friend Models
Presented by Pamela Wolfberg and Heather McCracken - The Integrated Play Groups (IPG) and Friend 2 Friend (F2F) models come together in this two-day introductory seminar to address the unique social, play and friendships needs of children with autism spectrum and related disorders. These complementary models draw on best practices to support children on the autism spectrum develop to the best of their ability through play and socialization with their peer groups.
