Unbox & Play Online Play Groups

  • Small stable groups of 2 to 3 children ages 6 to 10.
  • 14-week programs offered during Fall, Winter and Spring (as well as summer camps).
  • Virtual transition meeting with Master Guide prior to the program start.
  • Children receive boxed play materials intended to support their engagement in each session.
  • Sessions are designed around a specific play scheme.
  • Sessions are tailored by the Master Guide incorporating the children’s specific affinities, as well as the social and communication goals.
  • Sessions are led by a highly trained Master Guide (virtual host).
  • Children receive pre-teaching materials to support their understanding of the play before the online sessions.
  • Session notes and data on baseline skills are recorded for each child with autism.
  • Interim report with individualized goals and strategies is provided to the family.
  • A final progress report is provided to the family.

  • Youths receive an individually designed, specifically tailored character card based on their affinities and interests prior to the start of the program.
  • Sessions are designed using a “story” design and written around specialized activities.
  • Sessions are tailored by the Master Guide to incorporate the youth’s specific affinities, as well as the social and communication goals.
  • Sessions are led by a highly trained Master Guide (virtual host).
  • Session notes and data on baseline skills are recorded for each novice player (children with autism or related needs).
  • Interim report with individualized goals and strategies is provided to the family.
  • A written final progress report is provided to the family.
