Home Learners Autism Play Groups

Overview

Home Learners Play Groups programs combine the award-winning Integrated Play Groups®, Friend 2 Friend Autism Demystification®, and SCERTS® models. These comprehensive, educational programs are inclusive peer play, educational programs that focus on developing the social, communication, emotional regulation, and peer play competencies of all the children participating.

About Play Groups Programs

Home Learner Play Groups offer specialized peer play educational programs once or twice per week in 60-minute sessions. Each group consists of a maximum of 3 to 4 home learners. Groups are designed for children ages 6 to 12 years old.
Under the guidance of highly trained professionals, the programs are designed to meet the social, peer play and friendship needs of children who are home or distance learners (Self Design, EBUS. Oak and Orca, Autism Funding).
Weekly play themes are created around the player’s affinities and are designed to enhance the learners’ peer social, play and friendship needs while participating in these highly engaging play experiences.
