BC Communities Capacity Program

 

 

 

BC Communities Capacity Program is a professional development program offered free of charge to British Columbia schools, school districts and not for profit organizations.

A “train the trainer”  program providing participants with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to implement the Friend 2 Friend Autism Demystification program curriculum with children ages 3 through 11 in their local schools and inclusive community settings.

Online Course

 

Organization/school districts may choose to participate in our self-directed Autism Demystification online course. A maximum of 5 participants from a single organization may participate in the online course. Each participates will receive access to the online course, download materials for implementing the curriculum, certificate of participation. Implement with Children

Hosting a Seminar

 

Organization/school districts may choose to host a large live training seminar session in their community. A minimum of 50 participants is required to book this free seminar. Hosting organization are responsible for organizing the venue, registration of participants, refreshments etc.  The hosting organization is also responsible for all travelling expenses. For more information regarding this free seminar please contact our office.

All Autism Demystification programs follow our award-winning Friend 2 Friend Autism Demystification®. The Autism Demystification programs are inclusive peer play and friendship programs. Our programs focus on the development of the social, communication, emotional regulation and peer play competencies of all the children participating in these specialized programs.
