Expert Players Needed!


Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society invites Expert Players ages 6-12 to join our Integrated Play Groups programs at our Friend 2 Friend Play Centre.
 
Expert Players are typically children with advanced social, communication and play skills. If your child would like to play and make friends at the Friend 2 Friend Play Centre completely free of charge, please contact us at friend2friend@shaw.ca.
 
The Friend 2 Friend – Integrated Play Groups programs are inclusive peer play programs designed to engage Novice Players (children with autism or related needs) and Expert Players (children with advanced social, communication and play skills) in meaningful play experiences. Groups are designed to promote social, communication, emotional regulation, imaginative play and friendships in all children attending.

March Break Play Groups Program 2013


Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society presents the March Break Play Groups 2013.

This program is designed for children with autism (Novice Players) or related needs and their peers/siblings (Expert Players). Each program has a maximum of 5 children (2-3 Novice and/or 2-3 Expert Players). The programs run for 2.5 hours in length, four days on Monday, March 18th to Thursday, March 21st. We offer two sessions, mornings from 9:30am-12:00pm for ages 5-7 and afternoons from 1:00-3:30pm for ages 8-10, at our state-of-the-art play centre located at 2941 Kingsway Vancouver.

Integrated Play Groups Seminar September 27th and 28th


We are please to annouce our fall Integrated Play Groups seminar will be held on Friday Sep 27th and Saturday Sep 28th. Dr. Pamela Wolfberg, creator of the IPG model and Heather McCracken, creator of the F2F Model will present this two-day seminar on the IPG model and the Friend 2 Friend – Integrated Play Groups programs. The session will be held at the new state-of-the-art Play Centre located at 2941 Kingsway Vancouver. Registration is limited to 40 attendees. Registration will begin Jan 7th , 2013.
